How does the application process work?
- Please submit your complete application documents, including your CV and work references, online.
- We will contact you within 10 days to arrange a get-to-know-you coffee or a trial shift.
- If everything is in order, you will receive your contract immediately and we will welcome you with an induction program!
What career opportunities are there in the hotels?
Together, we will discuss which further training opportunities are best suited for you and how we can support you specifically. Because teamwork is important to us, and that includes your career planning. So let's grow together!
How many weeks of vacation do I have with you?
All employees have 5 weeks of vacation here. Starting in the second year, you can also wish for something extra: a 6th vacation week, a ZVV pass or money.
How are working hours regulated?
We have different shift models: you can work in the early, late, or night shift, whatever suits you best. We also strive to give you a free weekend every month. Overtime is also regularly compensated.
Is there a room hour at Fred Hotels or the Hotel Zürcherhof?
No, we don't have room service hours - neither in housekeeping, at the reception, nor in other departments. Your working hours are in one block, without long breaks in between.
Can I work as a career changer at your company?
Of course, if you have a knack for guests and service is not a foreign word to you, then please apply! Experience in the service industry will help you get off to a good start. In the background, team spirit and quality are essential, at the reception desk, hospitality and PC skills are key. We are looking forward to fresh ideas!
