Insights into Anina and Liliia's first year of apprenticeship

Different languages, exciting guests and close teamwork. This and much more awaits our first-year apprentices: Anina as a hotel communication specialist and Liliia as a hotel housekeeping specialist.

Anina's everyday life as a hotel communications specialist - as varied as she is

Kitchen, service, housekeeping: Anina has already gained valuable experience in various areas - an important aspect of her career choice. “I knew right from the start that I wanted a varied job that would get me moving and not just sitting in front of a screen.” Anina also feels the urge to move in her free time.

At Fred Tschanz, Anina appreciates the family atmosphere in the company and the central location of her workplace. “All I have to do is drive to the main station, get out and I'm straight at my workplace.” Anina is particularly looking forward to her time at the reception desk at Fred Hotel Hauptbahnhof, which awaits her in her second year of training.

Liliia's first steps on the way to her dream job as a hotel manager

As an apprentice hotel housekeeping specialist, Liliia works in the housekeeping, kitchen and reception areas. Her favorite task is preparing breakfast. “I'm already really good in the kitchen, but I'd like to get even better at it.” What she particularly appreciates about the Hotel Zürcherhof is the team and the friendly atmosphere.

Liliia has always been interested in the hotel world. She had no other career aspirations. “Even as a child, I dreamed of becoming a hotel manager,” says Liliia. “The apprenticeship is the first step on my path, after which I definitely want to do further training.” First, however, her focus is on a successful apprenticeship.
