The improvement on the 2023 result is no coincidence. Based on the findings of the last survey, specific measures were taken in areas where satisfaction levels were not entirely convincing. For example, a unique loyalty programme was developed in which employees can freely choose their annual bonus – be it a sixth week of holiday, a ZVV travel pass or a cash payment. Another example is structural adjustments that enable direct communication between the kitchen and service staff: the eye contact that is now possible noticeably strengthens team spirit. Talent development has also been particularly successful: since the introduction of the development programme, all management positions have been filled internally. This success – satisfaction – reinforces our decision to invest specifically in our employees.
